Senior Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager

Our client is an up market, local independent firm of Estate and Letting Agents and they are looking for an experienced Senior Lettings negotiator to join their fantastic firm in the Teign Valley. Well known for their dedication to their staff, vendors and tenants, they always strive to exceed expectations through service.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
• To conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
• Valuation appraisals
• Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
• Support to the Sales team as required
• Utilisation of IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
• Dealing with all aspects of property management which could include repair and maintenance issues, organising safety certificates, check ins / check outs, inspections.

The ideal candidate:

• Well-presented and nicely spoken
• Minimum of 1 years lettings experience
• Strong local knowledge
• Organised with a good attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of the current lettings legislation
• Honest and trustworthy
• Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
• Willingness to go the extra mile

Competitive on target earnings of £25-30,000pa plus parking, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, time off between Christmas & New Year and birthday off. 5 day working week so lieu time for working on the Saturday rota. Friendly team environment both in and out of work hours with regular social events.
