Property Manager

Our client are a well-established independent Estate and Lettings Agency, who are now looking for an experienced Property Manager to join them in their Hackney Branch.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for portfolio of managed properties Dealing with maintenance issues with Tenants/Landlords on the phone and in person Organising schedule of works To ensure repairs and maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard Diarising, organising and negotiating lease and rent renewals Dealing with deposit registration, release and disputes administration Carry out periodic inspection of properties Working closely with maintenance team and contractors The use of property management software Preparing tenancy agreements, statutory notices and complying with all current legislation at the outset of a tenancy agreement Arranging check in and check out inventories as needed Booking gas, electric and EPC Certificates To ensure clients are fully informed of and comply with all legal obligations under current tenancy legislation

The ideal candidate:

Possess a solid track record to date in property management Have a professional approach and appearance Be able to handle and resolve difficult/sensitive issues or disputes Possess excellent communication skills Be a team player Demonstrate a good understanding of a strong customer focus Be required to use your own initiative, be able to work under pressure and to deadlines and have excellent interpersonal skills Possess high computer literacy skills Hold a full and clean driving license

Hours Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm

Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience

plus additional Commissions
