Our client, a well-established Legal firm requires an experienced Residential Solicitor to join their growing Team.

The main purpose of the role is to run own caseloads, assist other fee earners with their cases, contribute to the effective operation of the firm and actively develop new sources of potential income streams for the department.

This is a full time permanent role in the Residential Conveyancing Department and will be reporting to the Head of Residential Property.

ROLE:

• Manage own caseload
• Ensure that diary dates are observed
• Meet relevant quality and professional standards
• Maintaining continuing competency requirements as expected by the company and SRA
• General administrative tasks in relation to individual file management
• Visiting clients, taking instructions
• Conducting searches and investigating title
• Reporting to clients
• Billing

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive / Licensed Conveyancer with 2 years experience + PQE.
• Must have a good working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules.
• Experience of dealing with multifaceted and various conveyancing transactions.
• Experience of handling high volume of transactions at any one time.
• Experience of attending to clients, liaising with third parties, particularly estate agents.
• Experience of producing completion statements and drawing up bills.
