Shared Ownership and Resales Consultant

• Job Type: 3 – 6 month contract
• Location: London
• Salary: 37,500 per annum
• To start ASAP

We are seeking a Resales Consultant to provide exceptional progression services to shared ownership resales customers. This role involves ensuring a professional standard of service for all stakeholders, managing cases through to exchange and completion within set timescales, and communicating effectively with leaseholders and other key parties.

Day to Day of the role:

• Handle customer enquiries professionally, displaying product knowledge and maintaining accurate records.
• Manage a pipeline of resales and staircasing cases, working towards monthly targets and providing accurate projections.
• Support customers during the resale process with effective legal advice and regular updates.
• Liaise with customers, solicitors, estate agents, financial advisors to progress cases efficiently.
• Prepare weekly pipeline reports, ensuring performance standards and compliance with procedures.
• Stay informed on technical knowledge and legislation relevant to shared ownership resales and staircasing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of shared ownership products, AML regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Ability to interpret leases and possess broad legal knowledge of shared ownership products.
• Understanding of the conveyancing process and the mortgage market.
• Minimum GCSE level C or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in providing excellent customer service.
• Experience in managing a high-volume transaction pipeline independently.
• Commitment to continuous business improvement and equal opportunities.
• Flexibility and ability to work with minimum supervision to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in a broad range of IT systems.
