Our clients are a fast-growing property services business, delivering a range of solutions to estate agents, social housing providers, and the public.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Credit Controller to manage and run the credit control function, ensuring that policies are up to date and adhered to, as well as be involved with personally chasing outstanding debts.The Role:

• Oversee and manage the entire credit control process, including credit assessment, credit limits, and terms negotiation.
• Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.
• Monitor and chase outstanding payments from customers.
• Handle complex and escalated debt recovery cases, negotiate payment plans and settlements, and take appropriate legal actions when necessary.
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through credit checks, financial analysis, and evaluation of payment history.
• Prepare and present regular reports on credit control performance, aging debt, and key metrics.
• Provide guidance and support to junior credit control staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit control, debt collection, or accounts receivable management. (Essential)
• Demonstrable experience in legal debt recovery processes. (Essential)
• Demonstrable experience in producing management reports for credit control purposes. (Essential)
• Demonstrable experience in managing staff in a credit control setting. (Desirable)
• Experience working with Estate Agents or in a property service-related business. (Desirable)
