The Requirements as a Recruitment Consultant

• Recently graduated from university with a 2:1 or above
• OR Strong A-Level results
• Work experience in a fast paced environment (Customer Assistant, Hospitality etc.)
• Naturally work well in a team
• Strong communication skills both written and verbally
• Self-starter, self-motivated and goal orientated

The Role as a Recruitment Consultant

Once trained by a senior mentor, you will become an expert in your role as a recruitment consultant. On a day to day basis you will be doing the following:

• Finding and qualifying candidates using all the tools and resources provided
• Writing and publishing adverts
• Headhunting ‘A grade’ candidates through various platforms
• Building candidate market maps
• Booking and running candidate meetings
• Arranging candidate interviews, including preparing candidates, and collecting feedback
• Lead generation and conversion
• Building relationships with hiring managers
• Establishing your own brand in the market through a variety of mechanisms
• Working towards the monthly targets and achieving all objectives and targets agreed with team leader/mentor
