This long-standing, independent estate agency is currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join its friendly team in Maidenhead.
They provide an unrivalled service for the sale and letting of a wide range of property, from new homes and period cottages to town and country houses. Each property is handled by senior agent with expertise, knowledge and experience of the local market.
As the Property Manager, you will be required to deal with the day to day letting and management of properties within the Residential Lettings portfolio, including a wide range of quality properties from one bedroom apartments to large period family homes.

Responsibilities will include:
• Daily liaison with tenants, landlords and contractors; dealing with questions, complaints and updates• Invoice authorisation• Carrying out property inspections and writing reports of outcomes and letters to landlords and tenants. Arranging for maintenance issues arising following property inspections such as internal/external decoration to ensure our managed properties are kept to a good standard of presentation and repair. Updating of the lettings and property management database• Ensuring tenant / contractor / landlord compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.• Chasing overdue rents and invoices• Providing property management advice within area of expertise to existing and potential clients. Writing letters and reports• Organising gas safety certificates, electrical certificates, EPCs and any other requirements for the portfolio• Organising quotes for repair / maintenance on behalf of landlords and overseeing works• Terminating tenancies• Handling and negotiating all tenancy deposit disbursals• Stress management and problem solving• Arranging inventory check in and out reports• Registering applicants and organising and carrying out property viewings assisting and supporting the lettings function when required• Build to rent management.
Personal specification:
• Previous residential lettings and property management experience• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including Word and Excel• Knowledge of CRM and management databases and ability to learn and become proficient in companies database and CRM system• Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative• Good team member with a flexible approach to work• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines• Have high standards and adheres to quality guidelines• Team player – act openly and honestly and show respect for others• Full UK driving licence and your own car – essential
This position comes a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm, plus one in four Saturdays 9am to 2pm subject to the demands of the business.
