An experienced Property Manager is needed to join our client’s leading letting agents in Southampton. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and is excited about building for the future.

The Role

The Property Manager position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in property management, lettings, or property maintenance. The job is part of the Operations department, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in introducing new systems and processes as the company continues to grow at an exciting rate.

The focus will be

• Co-ordinating maintenance work
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate notes and progressions of all maintenance issues
• Deliver excellent customer service by keeping all stakeholders updated
• Appropriately identify maintenance issues that need to be escalated
• Correctly identify liability of costs
• Utilising the property management software
• Coordinate and organise the workload of the in-house maintenance team
• Monitoring the quality of any contractor’s work
• Ensuring deadlines are met, and the clients are happy.
• Organising the workload of the contractors
• Obtain quotes and provide relevant advice to Landlords
• To represent the company effectively, it is important to establish a personal connection with the clients and understand their needs.

The Person We Need

• Existing property management experience is essential
• Ideally with a minimum of two years experience, enabling the successful Property Manager to join the team and begin adding value very quickly.
• A dynamic and energetic personality, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A passion to work in the property industry and go the extra mile for clients
• To consider themselves a team player with a can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• To hold a UK driving licence

Remuneration

• The role comes with a competitive salary of 35,000 – 38,000 pa (depending on experience)
