Are you an experienced and skilled Plasterer looking to make a positive impact in the field of social housing? Our client is a renowned leader in construction and property services, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the improvement of housing communities.

Responsibilities:

1. Plastering and Finishing: Perform high-quality plastering and finishing work on walls and ceilings in social housing properties.

2. Repair and Restoration: Conduct repairs and restoration work, addressing issues such as cracks, holes, and surface imperfections to ensure a smooth and flawless finish.

3. Texture Application: Apply various textures and finishes to surfaces as required, meeting the aesthetic and functional specifications and the social housing projects.

4. Collaboration with Construction Team: Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, including painters and decorators, to ensure a cohesive and efficient work flow.

5. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary to achieve optimal results.

6. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines while performing plastering tasks in social housing units.

7. Communication with Residents: Communicate effectively with residents, explaining the nature of plastering work, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive experience during the construction process.

8. Material Management: Efficiently manage and use plastering materials, minimising waste and ensuring cost-effective practices.

9. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on completed plastering work to ensure it meets the standards and complies with project specifications.

10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of plastering activities, including work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered, and provide regular progress reports to supervisors and project managers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plasterer in the construction industry.
• Relevant qualifications in plastering or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
