Property Personnel
This upmarket and award-winning firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors is looking to recruit a Lettings Administrator to join the team in Barnes. Our client only employs the very best people. You will be responsible for the provision and supervision of efficient administrative support, including call handling, typing and preparation of communications and documents, maintenance of file systems, diary management (electronic/paper as required) and other administrative duties as required.
To be considered you will have proven experience within a property administration role, hold excellence in terms of maintaining confidentiality, have a professional manner and excellent customer service skills. If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
Responsibilities will include:
• Answering the phone and directing calls as required• Dealing directly with clients / applicants looking to let or rent and answer any enquiries• Typing and organising reports where appropriate• Organising the marketing of the properties including arranging photographs and floor plans and EPCs, creating brochures, window cards and organising advertising• Arranging canvassing• Collating statistics• Making lettings files• Progressing tenancy paperwork• Carrying out the occasional viewing for lettings when required• Organising contractors to attend to maintenance issued and informing landlords of costs or quotes where applicable• Filing of any associated paperwork• Any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
Skills & knowledge:
• Strong administrative experience• Knowledge of the property industry• Experience of providing support to teams• Numerate• Strong communication skills• Advanced Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook & PPT• Ability to learn, operate and train within the office on specialist systems• Time management skills• Experience of or similar time recording system – beneficial• Team player• Quality focused.
The salary for this role will be £24,000 to £28,000 dependent on your level of experience and qualifications. This can be a full or part time position. You will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays.
