Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Ilkeston

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Part-time, Office Based.

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 D.O.E

We are looking for Conveyancing Paralegals to join a growing Conveyancing Department, based in the Ilkeston area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Paralegals looking to further their experience and progress their career in Conveyancing.

Responsibilities of a Conveyancing Paralegal Include:

• Provide effective support to the Conveyancing Team
• Provide quotations to clients
• Attend to clients both on the phone and in person
• Open, close, and store relevant files
• Exchange contracts and draft registered contracts
• Issue and chase contracts
• Liaise with estate agents involved in property transactions
• Prepare files for completions and draft completion statements
• Raise enquiries with seller’s solicitors
• Report to clients on searches, mortgage contracts, and title packs

Skills and Experience of a Conveyancing Paralegal Include:

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal is required
• Qualified Experience is ideal but not required.
• A desire to progress your career within the conveyancing field.
• Ability to prioritise work, work to tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to speak to people on the phone.
• Have excellent client care skills.
