Southern Housing
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Asset Manager in this client-side role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s commercial property investment portfolio with over £60m AUM spread across London and the South East, primarily focussed on retail and office on the ground floor of mixed-use schemes. This includes being responsible for day-to-day property and tenancy management, arrears collection, void management and lettings.
You will ensure rent reviews and lease renewals are performed on a timely manner at market levels. A key requirement is to ensure the commercial portfolio is well maintained, fully compliant and in a good state of repair. As well as ensuring Southern Housing is meetings its maintenance, and repair obligations, you will ensure tenants are meeting theirs. You will make sure standalone office blocks are well managed, with a robust service charge regime in place for these.
You will model Southern Housing’s HEART values, to both the team and the wider company. You will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
