We are looking for 2 Area Land Agents, 1 to join our team in Central Region and the other to join our team in South Region. This role will report directly to the Regional Manager, working closely with the Regional Leadership Team to meet objectives. You will be supported by the Land Agency Programme Manager within the estates team. You may have line management responsibilities in this role.
The main duties of the role will be to ensure the effective management of the let estate with a diverse portfolio of agreements, servitudes and wayleaves. E.g. agricultural agreements, mineral leases, windfarm access agreements, variety of utility projects, timber access agreements for third parties. You will also negotiate new agreements and leases, liaise with internal specialist teams and stakeholders on a variety of issues, and manage external consultants.
The Central Region post will ideally be based in either our West Calder or Aberfoyle Offices and the South Region post will be based in either our Newton Stewart or Dumfries Office, as it will be predominantly focused on supporting the West of the Region. Both roles are likely to be hybrid roles along with home working.
